Yesterday, after school, we went down to a favourite beach and walking track and gathered a bunch of washed up twigs/shells/spinifix/leaves/flowers etc. The kids started to make plans for making up some playdough (we'd already planned to make some after school) and then constructing a mini-campsite with all the bits they'd collected.

Awwww, I LOVE their creations! xx
A beautiful autumnal activity. The beaches down here are pretty yuck from the post-quake sewerage issues. We have really missed our visits to the beach. And playdough.. haven't done that in ages. Thanks for the reminder.
Thanks Janine!
Oh Jacinda, what a shame about your beaches. We hadn't done playdough for ages either, but it's always a hit when it when we make some.
