Craftiness

I really want to get into some regular crafting for the home this year and have been having a good think about what I want to bring into my home (don't want to go cluttering up things unecessarily) while being enjoyable and useful!

I spent a bit of time sorting out my fabrics the other day. I had a collection of clothing that can be repurposed. I had some old sheeting and pillowcases. And I had a small amount of new fabric. Now to find a new home for these that are easily accessed instead of being kept in a large plastic bin down in the garage that's not easily gotten to by me.

First up was to work on some buntings for decoration. This one is going to be my all-purpose bunting. It's double sided - the other side is more "boyish". I used quilting fabric that I got on sale a few days back. I'm slowly building up my fabric stash, so was nice to have some left overs from this as well.

I missed the boat completely for handmade Christmas decorations this year, but I've already made up for it! This bunting is made from some Christmas fabric that was on clearance a few days back. So I'm all good to go for next year now!
