I haven't had my crochet hook out for a while but decided I needed something to keep me busy and not fall into the trap of getting onto the computer in the afternoon. So I pulled some wool out and made this up while chatting to the kids as they played. I've been really enjoying my plain black one I have and thought I'd make a coloured one and see what I thought.
It's a little narrower that my other one, but I'm still happy with it. I'm sure it'll be too hot soon to wear them...so will wear it while I can! It's not as blue IRL, much more of a light sea-green/sage colour with purples going one way and khaki/maroon going the other.

Ooooh very nice. I like it! Do you have the pattern?
The Girl in the Pink Dress
Thanks! It isn't done to a pattern but is just a long strip that is then stitched together. I single chained until I got the depth I wanted (I used a 4mm hook - not sure of the US equiv.). It's about 6cm wide but 7cm is more my preference. Then just double crochet until it fits around your head (although make it about 3-4cm shorter than what you need to allow for stretch). At the end of each row make sure you single chain before turning otherwise you'll lose width.
Great blog you got here. It would be great to read something more concerning this matter.
BTW look at the design I've made myself A level escort
