Taking a break...

Well, actually, the computer's taking a break. Literally.

My USB port got damaged a few days back (which isn't a huge drama really except I can no longer upload photos!) so from tomorrow will be sent away to the insurance assessors and I'll be computer-less for a week or two.

How will I cope? Might have to try and get the old beast fired up...

Or perhaps I'll set myself plenty of Spring Cleaning tasks and knock them off?

Hi Nikki,
It'll be a practice run for 'When the time comes', you can take it as a chance to experience life without blogging! I'm guessing the old beast is a desktop PC?
I can't understand how I coped without being able to google anything that came to mind...I'd be running to the library 10x a day..and annoying all my intelligent friends for advice and knowledge!

If you're away for a few weeks then have fun cleaning and relaxing... You can take some nice pics of your sparkling hard work to upload later!

Oh, bummer. I didn't realise when you said you couldn't upload pics that it was a more serious hardware related thing.

Maybe we'll have to actually see you *in person* over the next couple of weeks instead. lol. :o)

Wednesdays is it???

Emma, nah, it the other one is a laptop too with stuffed power connection that can't be fixed. Yes, good practice.

Alexis - too funny! So true hehe.

Johanna, I did have the same problem as you with uploading photos but then this happened too lol. Yep, would love to see you guys. Wednesday's are the day (or any other day if it suits better, I'm sure we could rearrange the day to suit). If you do make it up, arrange it through Lynda since I'll be sending this machine off this morning.

I'd go nuts if I was without a computer for too long. They are my best connection to the world!
Mine's sick at the moment too - but I'm on kiddo's laptop at the moment, and even if that failed, I could use his PC or my boarder's laptop. We're a house full of geeks...
If you ever need a geek (or to borrow a computer for a bit) just yell.

Johanna, Wednesdays it is! We'd all love to see you!
