Guess that happens when I actually down into it and weed. Amazing can be found when I'm not so busy just looking at head height and on the rush here, there and everywhere.

Sandra, I definitely had a better season this year, but can see the ones I put in over spring are being attacked by caterpillars so will focus on winter ones again next year and not worry that they take 6mths to grow lol. There is plenty of ground to not worry that they take up the space for so long.
We just had 13 more inches of snow ~ I'm dreaming of spring ... when I can find lovely things in my garden too! Meanwhile I'll live vicariously through your pictures & descriptions of your garden! :-)
