*Sigh*
Another frost tonight.
So this evening we went down and I covered over my plants that are in the garden already with plastic containers and then put newspaper over them all and some of the bigger plants had mulch popped around them. That's all I can do, so we'll see how effective (or not) that was.

Well they seemed fine last night, but have covered them over again tonight. Yes, I think you're right about the zoning - it has been an interesting experience though and I don't feel discouraged with it all. I'd rather find out now and learn from the experience lol. I have plenty more seedlings on the go which won't be ready for planting out for a while anyhow, so my supply is there waiting, just needing to replace the ones in the garden I accidentally knock over and snap off! Doh! So if it's not frost, it's my clumsy planting techniques.
